• Safety locking mechanism allows pressure cooking only if the switch is turned to the locked position.

• When pressure cooking begins, a red indicator automatically rises to signal that the contents are under pressure.

• Security Valve will immediately release excess steam and reduce interior temperature if pressure regulator is blocked and pressure is too high.

• Pressure release window in the lid will automatically vent the steam in the unlikely event that the security valve fails

• Locking mechanism in the lid will not allow the pressure cooker to open until the pressure inside has been reduced to a safe level.

Temperatures and pressures during use:
Position 1 : “Slow cooking,” enjoy traditional cuisine and delicate dishes in no time at all.  Approximate temperature 232 degrees F at 50kPa.

Position 2: “Express cooking,” enjoy the wholesome goodness of steam cooking. Even tough and dry foods become tender and moist in a greatly reduced cooking time.  Approximate temperature 248 degrees F at 100kPa.
